Jeffrey W. Bryson



Jeff Bryson is an attorney who practices in the areas of corporate and business law, taxation, employee benefits and executive compensation, and estate planning. He received his law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2000 and went on to earn his Master of Laws in Taxation and Certificate in Employee Benefits Law at Georgetown University Law Center in 2001. Jeff has also been licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Texas since 1994. 

Jeff worked in private law practice in Washington, D.C., for over 10 years, assisting financial institutions and other businesses with respect to a broad range of transactional and employee benefits matters in the context of mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, mutual holding company formations, and mutual-to-stock conversions. He also has assisted employers in connection with the establishment, ongoing administration, redesign, and termination of tax qualified plans, including employee stock ownership plans, 401(k) plans, profit-sharing plans, and equity and non-equity based nonqualified deferred compensation plans for their executives. Jeff has also worked extensively on tax planning and compliance issues under Sections 162(m), 280G, and 409A of the Internal Revenue Code. In 2015, he returned to Texas and has been working in private law practice primarily in the areas of estate planning and general business law. 

Jeff is married to Amie, and they are the proud parents of two daughters. Outside the office, Jeff enjoys time spent at the BBQ grill and cooking international foods, saltwater fishing, and cheering on his beloved Texas A&M University Aggies and the Fighting Texas Aggie Band.
